11:00 – Make Incredible Music with Mac

Inspire students to make music like a pro

Description
This session will explore the Mac platform for music composition and editing using industry leading hardware and software that are perfect for schools. We will start with a blank project and produce a piece of music within the session using GarageBand, including a dive into the software instruments, recording and editing tools, as well as mixing. 

Suitable for key stage 3/4 teachers looking to use GarageBand and explore the latest ways of capturing, recording and mixing music.

A teacher with over 20 years classroom teaching, leadership and management experience. His classroom has changed in the last few years, and his students are now teachers and other educationalists, but teaching and learning is at the core of everything he does. David is one of the UK’s most popular education consultants, and one of the UK’s foremost music education specialists, but his focus remains on cross curricular teaching and learning.
