A teacher with over 20 years classroom teaching, leadership and management experience. His classroom has changed in the last few years, and his students are now teachers and other educationalists, but teaching and learning is at the core of everything he does. David is one of the UK's most popular education consultants, and one of the UKs foremost music education specialists, but his focus remains on cross curricular teaching and learning.
Nicki has been working as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist in educational institutions from Nursery to Higher Education for the last 8 years. As well as continuing to offer high quality training throughout the UK, she is currently completing her PhD researching whether utilising the multi-modality of the iPad to cluster generative learning activities enhances durable transfer outcomes. She is passionate about using it to help develop a range of skills the young people will need to flourish in the world beyond education.
Presenter – Mark Morren - APLS
Mark currently works as a music teacher and e-learning co-ordinator at Tomlinscote School in Surrey, he qualified as an APLS in 2019. He has a wide range of teaching experience in state, private and overseas schools with a number of different roles from music teacher, head of department to senior leadership. He believes that technology plays a huge part in enabling learning to take place for all students, no matter their background. Teaching music with iPad has enabled him to encourage and support all learners to break down barriers and produce high quality results.
Neil’s passion is education! He was involved in a recording studio where technology was a stable part of the day to day operation, but is still amazed when walking into schools to find various technologies unused and unloved. Neil is an accomplished presenter who brings any subject matter to life and makes learning easy, relevant and fun.
Nic was worked at Jamf for almost 4 years, in training and system engineering roles. Prior to working at Jamf, Nic trained as a teacher in Computer Science. He also previously worked for Apple. Nic’s current role gives him the opportunity to combine all his skills, knowledge and experience of managing devices, his passion for education and his love of Apple technology.
