Augmented Reality: get a new perspective on your design

Description
This session will explore ways in which design can be brought to life using iPad. Exploring apps such as TinkerCad and Reality Composer the session will show how designing products and concepts can be given new insight and perspective with AR. This session will demonstrate how to design products in 3D and to view them in real world environments. A must view session for anyone who teaches, or has an interest, in design.

Apps used: TinkerCad and Reality Composer.

David has almost 20 years experience in education. An experienced teacher and Primary Headteacher he has taught from EYFS to KS3. Technology has played a central role in David’s teaching and leadership for the last decade and he now works with teachers and students to unleash the power and creativity of technology in the classroom. He is particularly interested in exploring the role of technology in delivering high quality curriculum and learning experiences that are memorable and help learners to achieve their best. Though his subject specialisms lie in music and primary maths David’s focus is on embedding technology across every subject to raise standards for every student.
