Supporting all students is a key priority during this challenging time.
For some, access to an Internet connected home computing device is not the norm. For others they simply don’t have their own personal learning device. So to leave no learner behind we’ve worked with some of the largest MATs in the country to develop our ConnectedStudent solution.

Our solution

Combining our experience in Telco, networking and our long standing work in Education we have developed a hardware bundle to connect these students. Albion’s ConnectedStudent bundle is formed of four main components: Device, Mi-Fi Router, SIM card and a short term contract.

Device

At the heart of the bundle is a personal device, iPad or MacBook, that is perfectly suited to supporting remote learning. As an Apple Authorised Education Specialist we have a deep understanding of Apple products and have vast experience in delivering large scale remote deployments.

Unlimited wireless internet

We work with all the major networks to provide a cost effective and unlimited data connection. Then using our unlocked Mi-Fi routers we give students the ability to create a Wi-Fi network at home, so they can connect to any computing device and continue their learning remotely. Alternatively a Cellular model iPad can be used with our SIM.

Short Term contracts

Whilst the current environment is very challenging we understand it is temporary. As such, we ensure that our data contracts reflect this. We offer a range of short term contracts, with all options having a 30 day cancellation clause.

Our Service

Setup, Configure, Provison

Our tailored setup service works with you to understand your requirements and workflow solution. We’ll then deliver the bundle direct to a student’s homes. The device will be configured automatically out of the box – zero touch deployment.

Technical Support

We’re experts in the remote management and support of Apple devices. We offer a comprehensive managed service, so you don’t have to worry about pushing Apps and securing devices. We can also further safeguard students with remote cloud filtering.

Remote Teacher Training

Delivering remote learning creates a unique set of challenges. Our learning specialists support teachers to adapt their lesson planning, co-create multi-modal resources and design engaging learning experiences.

Affordability

For large scale procurement we can provide short term bespoke funding rates to meet the needs of learners in the current environment. Which means the devices have never been more affordable.
