This is an automated notification system providing notices to parents that their child is absent via SMS, Phone and/or email. The system administrator directly using the admin interface can set up preferences.
Parent call-in
This feature allows parents to phone in to the school before registration and enter your child's unique ID allowing them to register their child as absent from school. - >Disaster Assist

Have a custom message for people calling into your school! This can be updated via the web and your home phone number (ideal if the school is snowed in or there is a flood) so you don't even have to be onsite.

Planning a school trip and you want to remind all the parents in form 7B that they need to return the parent permission forms, why not SMS the entire form in one go? School is snowed in today and you don't want to have to phone every parent, why not use the built-in voice and SMS communication system?
The Bulk messaging facility is a fantastic way of communicating important messages to groups of parents whilst still adhering to their individually preferred methods of contact. To achieve this we have implemented functionality to build and save Message Templates, Recipient List Filters and linked it directly to the parent preferences. - >Staff Assist

All staff members have their own mailbox and the voicemail viewer is a webpage listing staff members and their voicemails; it is intended to be shown on an LCD screen in the school staff room.
Timetable Viewer
The timetable viewer links in to SIMS to allow users to quickly view the timetable of any staff member or student and has been specifically designed to operate on a touch screen interface. - >Panic Assist

Handset hot codes are set up which are used to summon assistance if there is any unrest in the classrooms.

In order to know for sure where the bottle necks are in your phone service comprehensive reporting is available on call handling and volume of calls both incoming and outgoing.

Auto attend and virtual assistants are designed to get calls answered immediately, keeping the callers informed as to what is happening to their call and routing the call directly to the correct department, all this taking the pressure off of busy receptionists and improving the communication with parents.

Mobile handsets are available for staff that needs to keep in touch all over the campus. We can also advice and supply the wireless network that can be used to share both voice and data.
